Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ability to safely and proficiently operate mobile equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, dozers, water truck, grader, etc.
Ability to perform general support clean-up duties and maintain a clean work area by using high-pressure water system, shoveling, skid-steer, backhoe, etc.
Inspecting and cleaning platforms, catwalks, foundations, tunnels, etc.
Performing pre-shift and post-shift inspections of work area and mobile equipment as assigned.
Welding and cutting experience.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on stationary equipment.
Assisting maintenance personnel in performing repairs on stationary equipment such as crushers, conveyors, vibrators, screens, speed reducers, feeders, air compressors, etc., as required.
Willingness to be trained in other positions as needed.
Reports equipment conditions to appropriate personnel as required.

Incumbent should be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb vertical access ladders, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as, bend and lift 50 pounds. Incumbent must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions of heat and cold. The employee may be subject to wearing a respirator. Employee must be able to work required overtime which may include hours of up to or beyond 12.0/day and up to 7-days/week.
Must be able to safely and effectively perform duties in, around and upon high walls, conveyors, and on uneven surfaces at both ground level and on elevated surfaces.
These positions are heavily relied upon for reassignment to other positions and duties in the plant as required by varying demand of operations, coverage due to turnover, absenteeism, vacations, etc.
The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those that an employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of a quarry operations/production worker position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
