Resp Therapist Reg

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for performing respiratory care procedures as described in the policy and procedures manual. The Respiratory Therapist demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served on his/her assigned unit as indicated in the scope of the position. Individuals will be neat and professional at all times during the performance of their duties. Education / Licensure / Certification Current license in state of Tennessee as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in good standing Current BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of employment. Current ACLS certification or obtained within 60 days of employment. Current PALS certification All hires after January 1 2014: Current NRP certification or obtained within 90 days of employment. Experience / Skills Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to address issues in tactful and timely manner to patients, families and hospital personnel. Must be able to respond mentally, physically, and appropriately to emergency situations. 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care facility. Attention to detail and concentration Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
