Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Consistent and punctual arrival to morning dispatch
Patrol assigned areas
Identify expired parking meters and illegally parked vehicles
Follow detailed procedure to issue tickets retaining appropriate documentation for dispatch
Calmly and collectively interact with the public as city representative
Return to dispath with organized tickets and incident reports
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Ability to avoid deal with public and handle or avoid potential confrontations
Must be able to follow detailed instructions
Ability to stand, walk and/or move for up to 8 hours straight
Ability to operate a mobile communications device
Availability to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including weekends and holidays
Good written and verbal communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
