Lead and direct activities as required by management to achieve all studio goals, including sales and sitting objectives, customer experience, payroll and operating expenses, human resource management, loss prevention and merchandise/portrait presentation while driving both associate and customer engagement. This is a full-time position that typically works from 32-40 hours per week as per the company's business needs.
o Directs customer experience efforts that are consistent with Picture People standards; leads by example and coaches associates on the customer experience to capture sales opportunities and increase sittings.
o Assists development of team in photographic talent to accomplish studio's business objectives through attraction, selection, coaching, retention and motivation.
o Ensures attainment of sales, payroll and sittings goals during assigned shifts.
o Understands the Picture People culture and ensures compliance with all Picture People Policies & Procedures as well as store operational standards.
o Enforces studio merchandise/portrait presentation.
o Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age, with high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a minimum of two years' experience with Picture People or another volume portrait studio.
Ability to fulfill travel requirements and have reliable transportation.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team to carry out business objectives and operational standards.
Have completed and passed Basic Photography Courses, preferably a degree from accredited photography program.
Working knowledge of basic computer software i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel and Picture People post production software.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs, along with bending, squatting, sitting, crawling and standing for long periods of time.
Photography and Sales experience required.
