Army Fisher Houses provide a "home away from home" for military families, retirees and veterans receiving medical care at Army Medical Treatment Facilities.
This is a FLEX position with the Fisher House located on Fort Campbell, TN. The Fisher House is a seven bedroom home for families to stay while visiting caring for loved ones being treated at local medical centers.Work schedule to be determined after hire.

Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment. Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities. Cleans, and dusts assigned areas. Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Moves heavy furniture. Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
Prior work experience that provided the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk on hard and carpeted surfaces with some bending, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of items or carts.
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull items or carts weighing up to 40 pounds
_Conditions of Employment:_
1. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
2. Successfully complete all required background checks.
3. A completed and signed copy DA Form 3433-1 is required prior to entrance on duty.
4. All required background check of AR 215-3 must be successfully completed and maintained. Satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) that will be initiated prior to appointment to a NAF position.
5. Ability to work Saturday shifts may be required.
6. A pre-employment physical is required before entrance on duty.
7. Social Security Card must be presented at time of appointment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
