NECESSARY SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience with receiving or similar function
Must demonstrate proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading of the English language
Ability and desire to problem solve, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
Must have guest service skills and be able to interact with guests in an effective manner
Basic mathematical skills, ability to count and provide change for monetary transactions
Ability to move and handle boxes of merchandise and/or textbooks including lifting up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner
## Job Description
THE SPECIALIST DELIVERS ON THE COLLEGE STORES MISSION BY COMPLETING ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING SPECIALIZED ROLES:
Completing Receiving Specialist activities
Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies
Executing inbound freight activities including receiving product in the inventory control system, verifying quantities and pricing, and managing back orders and cancellations
Scheduling and executing outbound freight activities including processing returns and sales to Nebraska Book Company's Textbook division
Completing Merchandising Specialist activities
Leading the recovery and replenishment of sales floor
Maintaining visual merchandise standards
Completing Accounting Specialist activities
Maintaining accounts receivable logs
Maintaining store filing and paperwork flow
Processing invoicing, credit requests and resolutions, daily mail, and month-end duties
Researching and resolving accounting related issues
Completing Online Specialist activities
Providing superior service to online guests by promptly filling and shipping web orders and addressing guest questions
Supporting store operations including general store opening and closing duties, running cash registers, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked sales floor and backroom
Supporting efforts to plan, prepare, and execute textbook back to school and buyback periods
Providing excellent guest service by greeting each guest with, "Hi, How can I help you?" and eliminating excessive wait times at cash registers
Protecting company assets by adhering to operational best practices and monitoring suspicious activity
Other duties as assigned

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
