We're currently in search of an experienced Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our team in Clarksville, TN.

Requirements:

  • Educational and Experience Qualification:
    Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in accounting or 3 years of equivalent experience in a similar role.

      Able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when reviewing timesheets and processing payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.

      Able to uphold confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information and payroll data.

      Employing analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.

    • Adaptability:
      Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a production environment.

    • Organizational Skills:
      Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, with strong organizational skills to ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll and benefits tasks.

    • Continuous Learning:
      A willingness to learn and stay updated on payroll and benefits regulations, procedures, and best practices.

Duties and
Responsibilities:

  • Review timesheets for accuracy and process weekly payroll.
  • Issue adjustments to pay and record retroactive increases.
  • Send weekly timecards to staffing agencies.
  • Process termination paperwork and prepare adjustments for PTO accruals.
  • Download 401k deferral reports and verify the correct deferral in the payroll system.
  • Setup garnishments in the payroll system
  • Prepare monthly insurance discrepancy letters.
  • Assist in posting pay cycles into the accounting system.
  • Maintain attendance reports and handle FMLA paperwork.
  • Assist with various administrative duties as assigned.

Salary and
Benefits:

Starting compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
