Medical Asst Cert - Specialty Clinic (FT, Days)

Job DescriptionThe Medical Assistant will assist with increasing high call volume; check-in / check-out process; collecting copays, co-insurance, past due balances, insurance and eligibility verification, referrals, schedules appointments, assists with workflow inbox, billing, medical records, collections, and missing slips resolution.
This position also provides support with patient outreach for upcoming appointments regarding balance due at TOS and delinquent referrals.
This position also serves clinical side:
Medical Assistant is responsible for providing general nursing care and assisting with patients in a clinical setting; patient triage, intake, medical records, clinical inbox, refills, results follow up, scheduling procedures, orders facilitator, pre-certifications, medication prior-authorizations, and coordinate clinical services.
Education / License / Certification:
Successful completion of a Medical Assisting program BLS certification requiredExperience / Skills:
Minimum of one year experience working in a medical clinic and/or hospital required Must possess basic computer skills (email, internet, Excel, Word) and able to work independently with minimum supervision required Specialty specific MA experience preferred Electronic Medical Record experience preferred Must be able to read, comprehend and communicate on a professional level Attention to detail and concentration Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment Recommended Skills Accounts Payable Attention To Detail Basic Life Support Billing Clinical Works Medical Records Apply to this job.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
