Echo Sonographer -Cardiovascular Lab
Primary role of Cardiac Sonographer is diagnostic studies of patients having echocardiography color flow,Doppler, M-Mode, and 2D echos.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to providecare appropriate to age of the patient served on his/her assigned unit as indicated below.
The CardiovascularSonographer must demonstrate competency in the procedure they are performing prior to performancewithout supervision.
Education /
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent BLS Certification required RDCS through ARMDS or RDCS through CCI Registry with experience; registry to be obtained withinone year of hire or placement 2-3 years experience in full time dedicated Echocardiography Lab preferred; Associate or Bachelors Degree in radiology program preferred Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Doppler Ultrasonography Radiology Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Echocardiography Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
