Job Purpose
To oversee the implementation of HR policies and practices in the pursuit of organizational objectives.
To work with HR team general manager who is the Korean expatriate with specific planning such as shift working system and so on of production workers and benefit/compensation related in manufacturing fields for several years of initial period for Hankook tire new plant.
To be a candidate of HR team general manager in the future after 4-5 years.
Duties include but not limited to the following:
Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview, and select applicants; advise hiring managers on personnel selection; continuously improve talent acquisition efforts
Organize and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude at work
Conduct performance appraisals and provide guidance and counsel for career development; administer disciplinary procedures if necessary
Participate in salary surveys and analyse results to ensure strategic compensation for employee retention and labor cost control; suggest recommendations to adjust salary structure in response to changing organizational needs and market values; plan and conduct a job evaluation as necessary
Analyze and modify benefits policies to establish a competitive benefit package and ensure compliance with legal requirements; inform employees of benefits and run informative sessions if necessary
Advise managers and employees of all Human Resources issues; represent the company at personnel-related hearings and investigations
Acknowledge current and potential labor relations problems and evaluate their impact; ensure legal compliance and prepare legally defensible evidence; act as a consultant to the management team on employee relations
Manage workforce data and maintain job descriptions for all positions; maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data; create policies and procedures to maintain and improve data quality
Plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate human resources activities.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree required; Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, or Labor Relations major preferred; advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: 15 years of relevant experience required; 2
years of managerial experience preferred; previous experience in the manufacturing industry desired, specifically tire industry.
Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English
Certificates: PHR or SPHR preferred
Required Knowledge
Personnel and Human Resources: Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Law and Government: Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
Psychology: Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
